Pagi ini kami “terdampar” di satu halaman web yang sangat menarik, satu halaman milik blog wpwebhost, penyedia jasa hosting khusus blog berengine wordpress. Titlenya “Vote For The Coolest Blog powered by WordPress” – Pilih Blog ( Berengine Wordpress ) Terkeren.
Ok. Satu hal yang patut diperhatikan : Kekerenan ( Coolness ? ) itu relatif. Dan bagusnya, pihak wpwebhost menyadari itu. Definisi keren ( cool ) itu apa sih? kekerenan adalah sesuatu yang abstrak. Bisa jadi dari sisi desain, bisa dari gaya ngeblog, bisa dari gaya penulisan konten, bisa dari pemilihan topik dan pengeksekusian yang rapih, bisa dari apa saja.
“Kekerenan” itu tidak terukur dan tidak membutuhkan kualifikasi yang harus dipenuhi. Entah apa dan bagaimana pertimbangan anda, yang pasti anda “tiba – tiba tahu” kalau sesuatu itu “keren”.

- lewro’s blog – The big “LEWRO’s CUPPA” with Latte and Cappucino, Starbucks passionate and the apple-zen-like design of the blog. Gotta love it.
- The Design Superhero – Because Aravind is the equivalent of Superman in web design
- The Hip Hop Democrat – Hip Hop + Politics = Too Cool For School
- Josh Mackey – Eye popping car photography shooting and occasional high definition wallpaper give away of the hot wheels.
- DivitoDesign – Simplicity at its finest.
- Komodomedia - Because Rogie is giving it all away and we thought that’s the coolest thing to do.
- Inspiredology – Fantastic design (take a look at the header) meets the best inspirational design showcase, and Chad is our favorite customer
- WP Engineer - Because we subscribed their rss feed right away. You should too.
- ForTheLose.org – Warning. FTL is highly addictive.
- WP Candy – This blog wins hands down as the sweetest WordPress blog, probably the coolest too.
- Ronin Snowboards – A picture’s worth a thousand words.
- Nias Zalukhu – How do you say “There’s No Charge For Awesomeness” in Malay?
- Deziner Folio – The Navdeep and Naveen brothers have put together a fantastic design showcase. They even made our banner looks better.
- WereWP – Because Jeremy is spreading the same WordPress Love like we do.
- Design Shard – Ok. By now you probably realize that we have a weak point over such design and inspiration blog.
Oke, kami pribadi belum sempat mengunjungi blog keduapuluh kandidat blog terkeren ini. Tapi apakah anda menemukan sesuatu yang familiar?

Waw, blog Bang Zal, putra Nias ini berhasil menjadi kandidat 20 blog ( berengine wordpress ) terkeren. Wow, setelah Bahasa Indonesia mulai diakui ( dan diimplementasikan ) ke berbagai aplikasi web yang “strategis” seperti Facebook, Paypal, dan Google Translate, kini satu blog indonesia yang menggunakan bahasa indonesia sebagai bahasa pengantarnya masuk ke dalam nominasi 20 blog terkeren ?
Yang notabene diadakan bukan oleh orang Indonesia, yang entah apakah mereka mengerti Bahasa Indonesia atau tidak 
Wow.

Sebentar. Setelah membaca P.S. diatas, pasti ada beberapa pembaca yang tergerak untuk menominasikan blognya disini ( Narcism mode : *On ). To be honest, narsis legal disini. There’s no problem with it. Ahaha. Some narcism are good, but too much narcism will kill you ( Ok. Will not kill you. But kill the others. ahaha ).
